my girl's home!!

gawd, never before had i been so happy to be sucking in bus exhaust fumes. my girl came home to me yesterday! ripping a page right out of a romantic comedy movie or whatever, my skin and body tingled when i laid my eyes upon her. she was a vision in all brown against her beautiful alabaster skin. i wanted to kiss her and just touch her all over but alas the jso and other riders kept us at bay. i kept looking at her and fell completely head over heals for her in love all over again. my love for her knows no bounds. the huge cherry on top of yesterday was just being able to hold her, kiss her (which were the most delicious kisses in history aside from our very first smooch!). lying in bed and stroking her hair and her skin and just sleeping next to her put me in ecstasy. how can i fast forward time to go back home to her? patience, grasshopper, patience. she's my sleeping beauty in bed waiting for me. just like i waited for her. all is right with the world, all is right. the birds are singing, the sky is blue, the sun is bright and the stars are twinkling with delight.

so my baby called me and we got to talk for a few minutes. so freaking excited she landed safely. a bummer that d found her so soon cause i could have stayed on the phone with her for a while. i didn't want to hang up but now she's there and it's their turn to catch up. i need to go to sleep anyway. i can't help but feel though that the goodbye was forced and now i'm crying. i love you baby, come back to me soon. my world is empty without you. i'm gonna try to sleep now cause i still need to function in a few hours.

dozed off about 1am watching conan. my brave effort at staying up till 3am not exactly successful. woke up around 2.30ish and have tried in vain to sleep a few more minutes. it's now a little past 3 and i got the much awaited text. my baby landed safely in cali. i don't think a text has ever been received with so much joy. yay! she's there and gonna call me in a bit. for now, infomercials are keeping me company. sleep? who needs sleep? i'll have a few more hours of slumber, i hope! and then it's bring on the never ending cup o' cappuccino to make it thru my work day.
