so I have this new obsession. Rest assured all the previous ones are still there. Lately I can't get enough of twitter. Its a great place to shoot off ideas and ramblings. Coupled with my new crackberry it was only a matter of time before the unyielding hands of obsession and addiction grabbed ahold of me.

i will not sell out

going to my first official networking event tonight. didn't even realize what i agreed to until just now. i'm scared. i know i'm not the only one who gets nervous at the thought of meeting new people, but i've never networked. i was in a room full of strangers just last month and pretty much kept to myself. i did speak to one lady but it was pretty lame. i take comfort in knowing this fear is pretty pervasive. networking is hella hard, no doubt about it but whatever i know when push comes to shove, i'll push. when it's time to sink or swim, i'll swim. it'll be fine. it'll be great because i'll have my girl there. oh hell yes. focus on that. what a great way to do our first networking event: together. i'll keep focusing on her and i'll be ok. well, i'll be more ok than the ok i was already going to be. or being.
